Of much more 'interest' is the developing picture of the 2003 remake. Jesus, this looks bad; Norton and Wahlberg I can take. But Statham (doing 'token British guy schtick I imagine) Mos Def as 'half-ear' (token "wise-cracking/tough by silent type played by a rapper) and, worse of the lot, Donald Sutherland. Don't get me wrong, I like Sutherland, but cast as 'Stella's father'? Hmmm. Touching romantic sub-plot anyone?
